Invitation – UTS 16/16 Festival of Architecture & Landscape

RAW Architects extends an invitation from UTS to the 16/16 Festival of Architecture & Landscape. Once again RAW will have a presence at the Festival which runs from Nov 10th – 12th 2016 at the Ambush Gallery, Central Park.

The school invites the public to the inaugural 16/16 Festival of Architecture & Landscape which replaces the exhibitionary orientation of INDEX with a new focus on the energy of reviews and conversational programming. 16/16 runs over two days and will showcase work from studies in Architecture (BDesArch and MArch) and Landscape Architecture (BLArch, years one to three), alongside roundtables, juries and parties.

Details regarding the event can be found at and below.

Some of Adam’s students will be presenting their Leftovers project as part of the Super Crit event. We will be in space M02 from 2:30pm – 3:30pm on Friday the 11th of November.

(Super Crit – The crit, or review, is the traditional feedback mechanism of architectural studio pedagogy. Super Crit is an all-studio, all-school review of selected Architecture and Landscape projects in one space at the one time. We invite guests and students to view a synchronous cross section of themes and preoccupations of the student work on the walls, and the engaging conversations between the students and critics.)

Our staff member Holly Julian will also be presenting her design work at a Pecha Kucha format event starting at 4pm on the same day.

(Pecha Kucha – Pecha Kucha fast-tracks the traditional lecture format into short-form presentations with 16 seconds/16 slides. Content will be handed to our student body who will curate and present their work as a post-script to the conversations of the Super Crit and the festival at large.)

Congratulations to all the students completing another year (especially Holly!) and we hope that you can join us in the celebration!
